Driving DNA™
Wunelli is the leader in the UK in Driving DNA™ analysis. Driving DNA™
are patterns recorded from telematics devices which defines how, where and when
a vehicle is being driven.
The data is sourced from private individuals and de-personalised to protect identities.
Using data over a large and diverse customer base and actual claims data, our data
analysis team have created algorithms to calculate a Driving DNA™ Score. The
Driving DNA™ Score is a safety index between 0 and 100 where 0 is extremely
unsafe driving and 100 is extremely safe driving.
Driving DNA™ is made up of parameters such as:
- Night time Driving
- Extreme Speeding
- Congestion Driving
- Aggressive Cornering & Road Surface Usage
- Smoothness (excess and unsafe braking)
- Excessive Short Journey's
By linking the Driving DNA™ Score to our claims actual claims database we
are able relate Driving DNA™ to the probability of fault accident.
Telematics Data
Wunelli has hundreds of millions of rows of driving data that comes from private
individuals (de-personalised to protect identities) who make choices about their
journeys and the way they drive. In addition our data sets provide socio-economic
indicators as well as comprehensive vehicle make / model reporting.
We are developing applications and using de-personalised data in the follow areas:
